A complete Utah residential CD set includes: G (General) sheets — cover sheet, code analysis, general notes; A (Architectural) sheets — dimensioned floor plans, exterior elevations (all four sides), building sections, wall sections, details, door/window/finish schedules; S (Structural) sheets — PE-stamped foundation plan, framing plans, shear wall schedule (SDC D per SDPWS), hold-down schedule, and connection details; M/P/E engineering drawings for complex MEP systems; C (Civil) sheets — grading plan, drainage plan, utility plan; REScheck energy compliance for IECC 2021 Zone 5 or 6; and specifications (as drawing notes or separate CSI-format spec book). Structural drawings must bear the PE stamp of a licensed structural engineer registered in Utah — required for all new construction in Utah’s SDC D environment.
